World Championships: Day 5, 11th Place

Dear Friends,
We had another good day yesterday, Wednesday, July 11th. In our first day in Gold Fleet we again raced on the outer course, course five, in 16-22 knots. We finished 10th in the first race and 3rd in the second race! Overall, we moved up to 11th, only 7 points out of the medal race. We remain the top American team.
In the racing yesterday we had fantastic starts and were going very fast upwind. Please stay tuned for two more races today, where our goal is to qualify for the medal race.
