The 470 is just one of the many classes that race in the Olympics. Boats range in size from the comparatively large 3 person Soling to the tiny single person Laser. The Olympic classes have been formalized by the ISOC and a network of official regattas and institutions have arisen to help promote their competition

The 470 Class
